I was improving the performance of my Xp Home Edition from guidlines on a web
site and since then the internet while still working is way slower and there
are other issues too. I typed ipconfig/all to see the ip address and so on
and it looks altered like some one is sharing my ip address. Here is a copy
of the search it might seem clear to an expert, to me it does not. Any help
with this problem would be appreciated greatly.

I can't see how this has anything to do with Visual Basic for DOS.

Though I will say that following some random "guidlines on a web site" seems
like just about the ideal way to give away control of your own computer.
