Has anyone tried faking their own version of 3-d buttons? I did one at
onetime that looked fairly good on a slowww
16 mghz machine, but alas threw away the code... used a sub to do the action
and now for the life of me can't remember how i did it or what tools i used.

Suggestions?

Some time ago I created a library of functions that can do dialog boxes,
buttons and all that stuff in QuickBASIC 4.5.

Saddly, I didn't developed the mouse routines to interact with the buttons
and menus. But I think this can be used as a background in Text based GUI
programs.
